Learning opportunities

Partnerships for Wellbeing is dedicated to the development of partnerships that will be effective in improving the health and wellbeing of Highlanders.

We work at grass roots level to ensure that communities are fully consulted and involved in delivering initiatives within their communities, and work with individuals to identify the knowledge and skills required to progress their ideas.

Training courses that we currently offer our Volunteers include :

  • First Aid training

  • Volunteer Walk Leader Training

  • Rural Risk Assessment Training

  • Basic Navigation Skills

  • MiDas—Driving training

  • Health and Safety

  • Health and Hygeine

  • Health and nutrition

  • IT skills –as` required

  • Participatory Appraisal –community engagement

  • Self Care Leader

Not a volunteer?

These courses are for Volunteers in the first instant, but are open to community workers, other Voluntary organisations and local authority and health employees at reduced rates, space permitting. For further info e-mail: admin@pfw.org.uk
