‘LET’S GET ON WITH IT TOGETHER’
Co-ordination of Partnership programme.

PfW are well placed to host this vital co-ordination role on behalf of the LGOWIT Partnership from 2011. The Long Term Conditions Collaborative within NHS Highland is committed to supporting people with long term conditions to self manage and to strengthening partnerships with voluntary and other organisations to provide supported self management opportunities.

The PfW Co-ordinator will be working towards the goal of developing the LGOWIT Partnership Programme by means of a mapping exercise across the entire NHS Highland Region to establish the best and most effective elements of this valuable work.

This is typical of the tasks which can be carried out by PfW on behalf of and in conjunction with other organisations in this important sector of Health and Wellbeing.

This illustrates the importance of the role of Partnerships for Wellbeing in the Highland Health Sector.

There are a number of support groups across Highland, Argyll and Bute which provide support to people who have long term conditions.  Please go to our links page where you can browse through links to other websites for support groups in your area and which may address your long term condition.
